Sandra Araiza Olmedo is from Mexico City.

She studied at the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, where she obtained a degree in law. She completed a Diploma Course in Foreign Trade at the Mexican Bar of the College of Lawyers (1997) and in Financial Law at the Graduate School of Law (2000), and attended the Foreign Investment Seminar given by the Mexican Bar of the College of Lawyers.

She was worked for the YSITA AND PARTNERS Law Firm for 16 years. She is currently Assistant Secretary of the Board of Directors of ASECAM and its subsidiary firms such as Vialcoma, and its subsidiary firms.

She has served as Assistant Secretary of the Boards of Directors of Pochteca and its subsidiary branches and acted as (i) Associate and director of the corporate legal and litigation management for the customer base of National and International Legal Strategy, and (ii) JR assistant, contributing to the solution of work, employer and trade union conflicts and the review of individual work contracts at Diez de Bonilla, Kuri and Partners.
